I'm visiting Hong Kong this week for a series of meetings, conferences and panels for smart cards and the airline and travel industry.

Starting the week on Wed at CARTES in Asia and scheduling a meeting with Randy Vanderhoof, Smart Card Alliance's Managing Director and a PaymentsMarket founding Platinum partner. For those of you not familiar with CARTES, is an organization focused on smart card technology for security and payment transactions. 

CARTES in Asia is a regional Exhibition for the APAC market and a high-level Congress covering digital security and smart technologies. Industry delegates include telcoms, banking, government, banking, security and other industry related verticals.

I will then be spending the remainder of the week with Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) Airline Distribution Summit. I have the honor of presenting to the group on the topic of Social Media tools for business. (stay tuned for an update on the presentation).
